Richards Gray carry out 500,000 searches annually servicing 4000 clients. Personal Local authority searches, environmental searches, Water and Drainage as well as unique packages such as Know Your Neighbour. Richards Gray were also at the forefront of the introduction of the new Home Information Packs (Hips).

Euro-soft designed and developed a fully integrated workflow management system which incorporated both internal management and integration via webservices to all suppliers and customers including water authorities, land registry as well as many customers placing orders via XML links.

The system also worked seamlessly with the Richards Garay online ordering system and Euro-Soft added a web based credit checking system.

The system was designed to work alongside the existing system utilising a sophisticated database synchronisation mechanism. Although the existing database was on a different technology platform and a substantially different design this synchronisation system allowed a phased implementation over an 18 month development program. This allowed Richards Gary to introduce modules of the new system while the legacy system ran in parallel to it.

The project involved up to 10 developers and was designed using Microsoft Dot Net, SQL server, webservices as well as integrating a number of third party products.
